Genuine new Bosch 0445020541 CP4 high-pressure fuel injection pump (OE Doosan 400912-00572, Bobcat 7386496) for Bobcat and Doosan D18 and D24 off-highway diesel engines. This OEM Bosch common rail pump generates and delivers the high fuel pressure the injection system needs for precise fuel metering, stable rail pressure and reliable engine performance. Made in Czech Republic and supplied brand new in original Bosch packaging with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

The pump is the CP4 (single-element CP4N1) generation, type formula CR/CP4N1/R50/20, driven by the engine and controlled electronically through the inlet metering valve to match fuel delivery to load and speed.

Also known internationally as: high-pressure fuel injection pump (EN), Hochdruck-Einspritzpumpe (DE), pompe d'injection haute pression (FR), pompa di iniezione ad alta pressione (IT), bomba de inyeccion de alta presion (ES), pompa de injectie de inalta presiune (RO) - Bosch 0445020541 for Bobcat Doosan D18 D24.

OEM cross-reference numbers

Compare the number on your original pump before ordering. Vehicle or machine model alone is not enough for compatibility confirmation.

Brand / manufacturer Cross-reference numbers
Bosch 0445020541, 0 445 020 541
Doosan 400912-00572, 40091200572, 400912 00572

Vehicle and machine compatibility

Compatibility must always be verified by the original Bosch number, OEM number or engine serial number. The engine code (D18 or D24) is the most reliable identifier for this pump.

Make Engine Displacement Cylinders Power Year Engine code
Bobcat / Doosan D18 (Gen2) 1.8 L 3-cylinder 45 kW 09/2019 onwards D18
Bobcat / Doosan D24 (Gen2) 2.4 L 4-cylinder 55 kW 09/2019 onwards D24

The Doosan D18 and D24 (Gen2) engines power a range of Bobcat compact equipment produced from 2019 onwards, including compact excavators, skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders and compact wheel loaders. Because a single machine model can be built with different engine or emissions variants, always confirm the fit by the number on the fitted pump or by the engine serial number, not by the machine model alone.

Related diesel fuel system components

The following components work with the D18 and D24 common rail system and may be needed alongside the pump depending on engine configuration. Manufacturers fit different variants depending on engine build, power rating, emissions stage and production date, so another code may be the correct one for a specific engine; identify each part by the number on the fitted component, not by the machine model.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know the Bosch 0445020541 pump fits my Bobcat or Doosan machine? Confirm it by the engine code (D18 or D24) and by the number stamped on your original high-pressure pump, or by the Doosan number 400912-00572 or Bobcat number 7386496. The machine model alone is not enough, because the same model can be built with different engine variants.

Is this pump new or remanufactured? It is a genuine new Bosch pump supplied in the original sealed Bosch box. It is not a remanufactured or exchange unit.

Does one pump fit both the D18 and the D24 engine? Yes. According to Bosch and Doosan parts data, Bosch 0445020541 (Doosan 400912-00572) is the shared high-pressure pump for both the 3-cylinder D18 (1.8 L) and the 4-cylinder D24 (2.4 L) Gen2 engines.

What are the Doosan and Bobcat OE numbers for this pump? The Doosan OE number is 400912-00572 and the Bobcat OE number is 7386496.

What is a CP4 pump? The CP4 is Bosch's radial single-piston high-pressure common rail pump. It is engine-driven and uses an electronic inlet metering valve to control how much fuel is compressed, keeping rail pressure precise across the engine's operating range.

What causes a CP4 pump to fail? The CP4 is lubricated by the diesel it pumps, so poor fuel quality, water in the fuel, contamination, air ingress or a neglected fuel filter are the usual causes. Running the tank dry is also damaging, because it removes lubrication from the pump.

Can a failed CP4 pump damage the injectors and rail? Yes. When a CP4 fails internally it can release metallic debris (swarf) throughout the fuel system, not only on the high-pressure side. In that case the entire circuit - fuel tank, in-tank (low-pressure) electric feed pump, supply and return lines, fuel filter and housing, high-pressure pump, common rail, rail-pressure sensor, fuel metering unit and injectors - must be inspected and decontaminated, and any component that cannot be reliably and completely cleaned (typically the in-tank electric fuel pump, the rail-pressure sensor, the fuel metering unit and, in most cases, the injectors) must be replaced rather than reused. Otherwise the new pump can fail again quickly.

Which injector is used with these engines? The matching Bosch injector for the D18 and D24 is 0445110968 (CRI2-18-OHW), Doosan 400903-00223.

Do you ship worldwide? Yes, we ship worldwide.

Common symptoms of a failing CP4 injection pump

On the Bobcat and Doosan D18 and D24 diesel engines, a worn or failing CP4 high-pressure pump typically presents as extended cranking or a no-start condition, an engine that starts and then stalls shortly afterwards, reduced power under load, unstable or low rail pressure with corresponding low-rail-pressure diagnostic trouble codes, and, in the advanced stages of internal wear, metallic particles in the fuel filter. Because these symptoms overlap with injector, fuel metering unit, rail-pressure sensor and low-pressure fuel supply faults, the complete fuel system should be diagnostically tested before the pump is replaced.

If the pump has failed internally and generated metallic debris (swarf), cleaning the high-pressure circuit alone is not sufficient. The entire fuel system must be inspected and decontaminated from the tank through to the injectors inclusive - fuel tank, in-tank (low-pressure) electric feed pump, all supply and return lines, the fuel filter and its housing, the high-pressure pump, the common rail, the rail-pressure sensor, the fuel metering unit and the injectors. Any component that cannot be reliably and completely cleaned - typically the in-tank electric fuel pump, the rail-pressure sensor, the fuel metering unit and, in most cases, the injectors - must be replaced rather than reused. Installing a new CP4 pump into a system that still contains metallic contamination is the most common cause of an immediate repeat failure.
