Genuine new Bosch 0445120236 CRIN1-14/16 common rail fuel injector for Cummins QSB6.7 / QSL9 (L9 / ISL9) and Komatsu diesel engines. OE refs: Cummins 5263308 / 3973060, Komatsu 6745123100. This OEM Bosch electromagnetic (solenoid) injector delivers precise fuel metering, stable rail-pressure response, reliable cold starting and long service life in heavy-duty on-highway trucks, buses and construction/industrial diesel applications. Supplied brand-new in original Bosch packaging, made in Japan.

This injector fits selected Cummins QSB6.7 and QSL9 (L9 / ISL9) engines and Komatsu machines, and is used by Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Peterbilt and New Flyer. Frequently asked questions

Is this a genuine Bosch fuel injector? Yes. This is a genuine Bosch OEM common rail diesel fuel injector, supplied brand-new in original Bosch packaging.

What is the main Bosch part number? The main Bosch reference number is 0445120236. It supersedes the earlier Bosch numbers 0445120029 and 0445120125. The number 0986435522 is the Bosch exchange/remanufactured reference and is shown for cross-identification only — this product is brand-new.

Is Cummins 5263308 the same injector? Yes — Cummins 5263308 and 3973060 are OE references for this Bosch 0445120236, and Komatsu 6745123100 is the Komatsu OE number.

Which engines use the Bosch 0445120236? It is used on Cummins QSB6.7 and QSL9 (L9 / ISL9) engines and Komatsu machines, in Freightliner, International, Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks and New Flyer buses.

What type of injector is the Bosch 0445120236? It is an electromagnetic solenoid common rail fuel injector from the Bosch CRIN1-14/16 family.

Does this injector need IMA coding after fitting? No. On these applications the injector is not IMA-coded, so no individual injector calibration code has to be programmed into the ECU.

Is professional installation recommended? Yes. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct fitment, proper torque settings and a clean fuel system before and after replacement.

Do you ship worldwide? Yes, we ship worldwide.

Common symptoms and diagnostics

Hard starting, long cranking, rough idle, misfire, power loss, excessive smoke, high fuel consumption or a check-engine light on a QSB6.7 or L9 engine can point to a worn or failing common rail injector — though the high-pressure pump, rail-pressure sensor, fuel metering valve, filtration or fuel contamination can cause the same symptoms.

Before replacing, have the fuel system diagnosed professionally (rail-pressure test, injector leak-off / return test, fault-code scan, filter and fuel-quality inspection). If a previous injector or the high-pressure pump failed and released metal particles, inspect and clean the rail, lines and filter housing — fitting a new Bosch injector into a contaminated system can cause immediate repeat failure.
