Genuine new Bosch 0445120340 CRIN2-16 common rail fuel injector (OE 837069405, Fendt V837069405, Sisu 837069215) for AGCO Power / Sisu Diesel 44 CWA, 49 CWA, 66 CTA, 74 CTA, 84 CTA and 98 CTA engines fitted to Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra agricultural machines. Made in Germany, supplied in the sealed Bosch box together with the nozzle sealing washer and the injector body O-ring, and covered by a 1-year manufacturer global warranty.

The CRIN2-16 is a solenoid-operated injector from the Bosch CRIN line built for heavy-duty and off-highway diesel engines. It meters each injection event electronically, so a healthy unit restores the correct spray pattern, stable idle, full rated power and normal smoke levels on high-hour agricultural engines. This injector is not IMA-coded: it carries no individual injector accuracy code, so nothing has to be written to the engine ECU after installation.

Bosch 0445120340 replaces the earlier Bosch number 0445120063, which is discontinued. The remanufactured Bosch Exchange equivalent of this injector is 0986435547; the unit offered here is the new-build part, not a remanufactured exchange unit.

Also known internationally as: Common Rail Injector (EN), Common-Rail-Injektor / Einspritzduse (DE), injecteur Common Rail (FR), iniettore Common Rail (IT), inyector Common Rail (ES), injector Common Rail (RO) - Bosch 0445120340 for AGCO Power Sisu engines.

Cross-Reference Numbers

Compare your original part number before ordering. Manufacturers used different injector variants depending on engine build, power rating, emissions stage and production date, so the model name alone is not enough. Identify the part by the number laser-marked on the injector body, by the OE number, by VIN or by the engine serial number.

FAQ

Question Answer
How do I confirm the Bosch 0445120340 fits my Fendt, Massey Ferguson or Valtra machine? Read the number laser-marked on the body of the injector fitted to your engine. A matching unit is marked 0445120340 and 8370 69405. You can also match the OE number 837069405, the Fendt number V837069405 or the Sisu number 837069215, or check against the engine serial number. The machine model alone is not sufficient, because several injector variants were used across the AGCO Power engine range.
Is this injector new or remanufactured? It is a brand-new genuine Bosch unit supplied in the sealed Bosch box, made in Germany. It is not a remanufactured exchange unit. The remanufactured Bosch Exchange version of this injector carries the separate number 0986435547.
Is 0445120063 the same injector as 0445120340? 0445120063 is the previous Bosch number for this injector. It has been discontinued and replaced by 0445120340, so an engine originally fitted with 0445120063 takes 0445120340 today.
Is the Bosch 0445120340 IMA-coded? No. This injector carries no individual injector accuracy (IMA) code, so no injector code needs to be written into the engine ECU after installation. Follow the manufacturer bleeding and torque procedure as usual.
Which engines use this injector? AGCO Power / Sisu Diesel engines in the 44 CWA, 49 CWA, 66 CTA, 74 CTA, 84 CTA and 98 CTA families, from 4.4L to 9.8L displacement, fitted to Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra machines. The full application list is in the compatibility tables above.
What is included with the injector? One injector, the nozzle sealing washer and the injector body O-ring, packed in the original Bosch box. Fitting the new sealing washer and O-ring supplied is recommended.
What does CRIN2-16 mean? CRIN is the Bosch designation for common rail injectors built for commercial and off-highway engines; 2 identifies the injector generation and 16 the size class. It is a solenoid-operated design, not a piezo injector.
How many injectors do I need? One per cylinder. A 44 CWA or 49 CWA engine takes four, and a 66 CTA, 74 CTA, 84 CTA or 98 CTA engine takes six. Replacing a complete set is usual practice when several injectors have similar running hours.
Do you ship worldwide? Yes, we ship worldwide. Stock items are handled the same day.
Should the engine be diagnosed before replacing the injector? Yes. Rail pressure testing, injector return-flow (leak-off) testing and fault-code analysis should confirm which injector is at fault before any part is replaced.

Diagnostic Information

Common Symptoms of Fuel Injector Failure

On AGCO Power 44 CWA to 98 CTA engines a failing CRIN2 injector typically shows as long cranking and hard starting when hot, a shaking or knocking idle that smooths out under load, loss of rated power under heavy draft work, black or white smoke, higher fuel consumption per hectare, and rail pressure or cylinder balance fault codes stored in the engine ECU. Excessive return flow from one injector will also drop rail pressure and can prevent the engine from starting at all.

Installation and System Check

Before any injector is fitted, inspect the fuel system for contamination, whatever caused the original failure. Check the fuel filter and its housing for water, rust, sticky deposits and metal or abrasive particles, and check the inlet screens of the solenoid valves on the pump and rail (fuel metering unit and pressure regulating valve), which trap debris and show contamination early.

Clean or replace every affected component before installation: tank, feed and return lines, filter housing and filters, fuel rail and high-pressure pump. High-pressure lines and connector tubes are replaced rather than cleaned. Flush the system, fit new filters and bleed it to the manufacturer procedure. A high-pressure pump that has released metal particles is only one possible source; poor or contaminated fuel is just as common, typically from improper bulk fuel storage, fuel tanks that are not cleaned periodically, or contaminated containers used for refuelling.

Carry out all testing required to establish that the injectors are the actual cause of the fault before replacing any part. On installation, fit the supplied nozzle sealing washer and injector body O-ring, clean the injector bore in the cylinder head, and tighten the clamp to the manufacturer torque specification.

Installing a new Bosch injector into a fuel system that has not been decontaminated will cause repeat failure within a short running time, and that damage is not covered by the warranty.
