Genuine new Bosch 0445124023 CRIN3-20/22 common rail fuel injector (OE 04511509, Fendt F842201710020) for the Deutz TCD 6.1 L06 six-cylinder engine fitted to the Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 8280 TTV and the Fendt 822, 824, 826 and 828 Vario tractors of types 839 to 842. Made in Germany, supplied in the sealed Bosch box together with the nozzle sealing washer and the injector body O-ring, and covered by a 1-year manufacturer global warranty.
The CRIN3-20/22 is a solenoid-operated injector from the Bosch CRIN heavy-duty line. It meters each injection event electronically, so a healthy unit restores the correct spray pattern, a stable idle, full rated power and normal smoke levels on high-hour agricultural engines. This injector is IMA-coded: it carries an individual injector accuracy code laser-marked on the solenoid cap, and that code must be written into the engine ECU after installation.
Also known internationally as: Common Rail Injector (EN), Common-Rail-Injektor / Einspritzduse (DE), injecteur Common Rail (FR), iniettore Common Rail (IT), inyector Common Rail (ES), injector Common Rail (RO) - Bosch 0445124023 for Deutz TCD 6.1 engines.

Cross-Reference Numbers
Compare your original part number before ordering. Manufacturers used different injector variants depending on engine build, power rating, emissions stage and production date, so the model name alone is not enough. Identify the part by the number laser-marked on the injector, by the OE number, by VIN or by the engine serial number.
| Brand / manufacturer | Cross-reference numbers |
|---|---|
| Bosch | 0445124023, 0 445 124 023, CRIN3-20/22 |
| Deutz / KHD | 04511509, 4511509, 451 1509 |
| Fendt / AGCO | 72613225, 72622642, F842201710020 |
Vehicle Compatibility
Compatibility must always be verified by the original Bosch part number, the OEM reference number, VIN or engine serial number. Power figures are given in kW as listed by the manufacturer.
Deutz-Fahr Applications
| Model | Displacement | Power | Year | Engine code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Agrotron 8280 TTV | 6.1L (6057 cm3) | 211 kW | 2020 to 2026 | TTCD 6.1 L06 4V |
Fendt Applications
| Model | Fendt type number | Engine |
|---|---|---|
| 822 Vario | Type 839 | Deutz TCD 6.1 L06 |
| 824 Vario | Type 840 | Deutz TCD 6.1 L06 |
| 826 Vario | Type 841 | Deutz TCD 6.1 L06 |
| 828 Vario | Type 842 | Deutz TCD 6.1 L06 |
Important for Fendt 800 Vario owners: Fendt used the same model names 822, 824, 826 and 828 Vario on two different tractor generations. This injector is for the later generation, Fendt types 839 to 842. The earlier generation, Fendt types 832 to 836 (which also includes the 819 Vario), uses a different injector, Bosch 0445124041 (Deutz 04515158). Read the type number on the tractor identification plate or the number marked on the fitted injector before ordering.

FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| How do I confirm the Bosch 0445124023 fits my Fendt or Deutz-Fahr tractor? | Read the numbers marked on the injector fitted to your engine. A matching unit carries the Bosch number 0445124023 and the Deutz number 0451 1509 on the electrical connector cap. You can also match the Fendt numbers 72613225, 72622642 or F842201710020, or check against the engine serial number of the TCD 6.1 L06. The tractor model alone is not sufficient, because several injector variants were used across the Deutz TCD engine range. |
| My tractor is a Fendt 828 Vario. Is this the right injector? | Only if it is a type 842. Fendt used the names 822 to 828 Vario on two generations: types 839 to 842 take this injector, 0445124023, while the earlier types 832 to 836 take Bosch 0445124041 with Deutz number 04515158. The type number is on the tractor identification plate. |
| Is this injector new or remanufactured? | It is a brand-new genuine Bosch unit supplied in the sealed Bosch box, made in Germany. It is not a remanufactured exchange unit. |
| Is Deutz 04511509 the same injector as Bosch 0445124023? | Yes. 04511509 (also written 4511509 or 451 1509) is the Deutz / KHD number for this injector, and it is marked directly on the connector cap of the unit shown in the photographs. Bosch 0445124023 is the number the part is ordered and supplied under. |
| Is the Bosch 0445124023 IMA-coded? | Yes. Each injector carries its own individual injector accuracy code, laser-marked on the solenoid cap. After installation that code must be written into the engine ECU with a diagnostic tool, otherwise the ECU keeps using the calibration values of the removed injector and fuelling accuracy, smoke and emissions are affected. |
| Which engine uses this injector? | The Deutz TCD 6.1 L06 4V six-cylinder engine, also written TTCD 6.1 L06, of 6.1L displacement. It is fitted to the Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 8280 TTV and to the Fendt 822, 824, 826 and 828 Vario tractors (Fendt types 839, 840, 841 and 842). |
| What is included with the injector? | One injector, the nozzle sealing washer and the injector body O-ring, packed in the original Bosch box. Fitting the new sealing washer and O-ring supplied is recommended. |
| What does CRIN3-20/22 mean? | CRIN is the Bosch designation for common rail injectors built for commercial and off-highway engines; 3 identifies the injector generation and the following figures the size class. It is a solenoid-operated design, not a piezo injector. |
| How many injectors do I need? | One per cylinder, so six for a TCD 6.1 L06 engine. Replacing a complete set is usual practice when several injectors have similar running hours. |
| Do I also need the connector tube? | The high-pressure connector tube F00RC00311 (Deutz 04503239) feeds the injector from the rail. It is not included with the injector and is replaced rather than cleaned when it is damaged, scored on the sealing cone, or when the fuel system has been contaminated. |
| Do you ship worldwide? | Yes, we ship worldwide. Stock items are handled the same day. |
| Should the engine be diagnosed before replacing the injector? | Yes. Rail pressure testing, injector return-flow (leak-off) testing and fault-code analysis should confirm which injector is at fault before any part is replaced. |
Diagnostic Information
Common Symptoms of Fuel Injector Failure
On the Deutz TCD 6.1 L06 a failing CRIN3 injector usually shows as long cranking and hard hot starting, a rough or knocking idle that smooths out under load, loss of rated power in heavy draft work on the Agrotron 8280 TTV or Fendt 800 Vario, black or white smoke, higher fuel consumption per hectare, and rail pressure or cylinder balance fault codes stored in the engine ECU. A single injector with excessive return flow will also pull rail pressure down and can stop the engine starting at all.
Installation and ECU Coding
Before fitting, inspect the fuel system for whatever caused the original failure. Check the filter and its housing for water, rust, sticky deposits and metal or abrasive particles, and check the inlet screens of the metering unit and pressure regulating valve, which trap debris and show contamination early. Clean or replace every affected component before installation: tank, feed and return lines, filter housing and filters, fuel rail and high-pressure pump. High-pressure lines and connector tubes such as F00RC00311 are replaced, not cleaned.
On installation, fit the supplied nozzle sealing washer and injector body O-ring, clean the injector bore in the cylinder head, and tighten the clamp to the manufacturer torque specification. Then write the individual injector code of the new unit into the engine ECU with a diagnostic tool and bleed the system to the manufacturer procedure.
Installing a new Bosch injector into a fuel system that has not been decontaminated will cause repeat failure within a short running time, and that damage is not covered by the warranty.
