Genuine new Stanadyne 26922 fuel shut-off solenoid (energize-to-shut-off, 12V) for Stanadyne and Roosa Master DB2 and DB4 rotary diesel injection pumps. This is the electrical stop solenoid mounted on the pump governor housing; made in the USA and supplied brand-new with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
When the solenoid is momentarily energized, its coil overcomes the shut-down spring and pulls the arm in, so the tab on its lower end contacts the governor linkage and cuts fuel delivery to stop the engine. It restores clean, reliable engine shut-down on pumps whose original stop solenoid has failed, stuck, or burned out.
Also known internationally as: fuel shut-off solenoid (EN), Kraftstoff-Abstellmagnet (DE), solenoide d'arret de carburant (FR), solenoide di arresto carburante (IT), solenoide de corte de combustible (ES), solenoid de oprire a combustibilului (RO) - Stanadyne 26922.

OEM cross-reference numbers
Compare the number on your original solenoid before ordering, and confirm it is an energize-to-shut-off type. Vehicle or engine model alone is not enough for compatibility confirmation.

|---|---|
| Stanadyne / Roosa Master | 26922, 21805, 22261, 22262, 27360, STA26922, STA21805, STA22261, STA22262, STA27360 |
Vehicle and machine compatibility
Compatibility must be verified by the number on the original solenoid, the injection-pump number, or the engine serial number - engine model alone is not sufficient. This solenoid fits Stanadyne and Roosa Master 12V DB2 / DB4 injection pumps originally equipped with an energize-to-shut-off solenoid, used on the following platforms:
| Make | Application | Engine | Years |
|---|---|---|---|
| GM (Chevrolet / GMC) | Light-duty diesel with Stanadyne DB2 pump | 4.3L, 5.7L, 6.2L, 6.5L diesel | 1982-1993 |

Frequently asked questions
How do I know the Stanadyne 26922 fits my pump? Match the number on your original solenoid (or an equivalent such as 21805, 22261, 22262 or 27360) and confirm it is an energize-to-shut-off type mounted on a Stanadyne or Roosa Master DB2/DB4 pump.
Is it new or remanufactured? New.
What is the difference between ETSO and ETR? ETSO (this part, 26922) is energized only briefly to STOP the engine. An ETR solenoid such as 26214 must be energized to RUN and de-energizes to stop. They are not interchangeable, so confirm your pump used a shut-off type.
Is my number 22262 the same part? 22262 is within the same Stanadyne shut-off solenoid interchange group as 26922; confirm the number on your original before ordering.
Does it fit the GM 6.2 / 6.5 or Ford 6.9 / 7.3 diesel? It fits those engines only when the Stanadyne DB2 pump was fitted with an energize-to-shut-off solenoid - verify by the solenoid or pump number, not the engine alone.
What voltage is it? 12 volt.
What is included? One fuel shut-off solenoid.
Do you ship worldwide? Yes, we ship worldwide.
Common symptoms of a failing fuel shut-off solenoid
A failed shut-off solenoid typically shows as an engine that will not stop when the key is turned off, or one that shuts down or will not start because the solenoid has stuck in the fuel-cut position. Erratic stalling and a burnt-smelling or open coil are also common. If in doubt, have the injection pump and solenoid function tested before replacing parts.
