Genuine new Bosch 0445110351 common rail injector (OE 55219886 for Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Opel and Vauxhall, 1980 EQ for Citroen and Peugeot) for the 1.3-litre MultiJet, JTD, CDTI, HDi, DDiS and TDCi diesel engine. Supplied new in the original sealed Bosch box, made in Turkiye, and covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

A solenoid common rail injector meters and atomises the diesel delivered from the high-pressure rail, restoring the correct spray pattern, smooth idle, clean starting and proper fuel economy on the small 1.3 diesel engine. The Bosch internal type formula is CRI2-16 M2. This injector is not IMA coded, so no individual calibration code has to be written to the engine ECU after fitting.

Also known internationally as: Common Rail Injector (EN), Common-Rail-Injektor (DE), Injecteur Common Rail (FR), Iniettore Common Rail (IT), Inyector Common Rail (ES), Injector Common Rail (RO) - Bosch 0445110351 for 1.3 MultiJet / CDTI / HDi diesel engines.

Other numbers do differ between the new and the exchange unit, so if you are cross-checking an exchange part, identify it by the number printed on your original injector rather than by the vehicle model. A lower-cost Bosch Exchange (remanufactured) version of this injector is also available.

Vehicle compatibility

Compatibility must always be verified by the original part number, OEM number, VIN or engine code. Model alone is not sufficient. The code in brackets after the model is the manufacturer's model type designation.

Alternative injector on some versions (not interchangeable): several versions of this 1.3 engine family were fitted with the Bosch 0445110183 instead of 0445110351, and the two injectors are not interchangeable. On the Fiat Doblo and Doblo Cargo 1.3 MultiJet 66 kW (199 A3.000) the 0445110351 is fitted to versions with a start/stop system, while versions without start/stop use the 0445110183. On the Ford Ka 1.3 TDCi the 0445110351 is fitted from 11/2010 onwards, while earlier cars use the 0445110183. Always confirm the correct injector by the number printed on your original unit, not by the vehicle model.

Compatibility note

The tables above are a fitment guide, not a guarantee. Vehicle manufacturers changed injector specification within the same model and engine according to production date, emissions stage and equipment level, including start/stop. Before ordering, read the Bosch number printed on the injector body of the unit you are replacing, or send us your VIN and we will confirm the correct part.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know the Bosch 0445110351 fits my vehicle? Match the number on your original injector to one of the cross-references above (for example Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Opel or Vauxhall 55219886, Citroen, Peugeot or Opel 1980 EQ, GMC 95517513, Suzuki 15710-63P00, Ford 1723813 or BS51 9F593 AA), or check the compatibility table by engine code (199 A9.000, 199 B1.000, 199 B4.000, 199 B8.000, 169 A5.000, 263 A2.000, 312 B1.000, A 13 FD, FHZ, D13AA). If unsure, send us your VIN and we will confirm.

Is my OE number 55219886 the same injector? Yes. 55219886 is the original-equipment number used by Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Opel and Vauxhall for this injector. Citroen, Peugeot and Opel also list it as 1980 EQ, GMC as 95517513, Suzuki as 15710-63P00, and Ford as 1723813 and BS51 9F593 AA.

Is this injector new or remanufactured? This listing is a genuine new Bosch injector supplied in the original sealed Bosch box, made in Turkiye. A separate lower-cost Bosch Exchange (remanufactured) version, 0986435204, is also available.

What is the difference between 0445110351 and the exchange number 0986435204? 0445110351 is the new-part number. 0986435204 is Bosch's remanufactured exchange equivalent of the same injector; it is rebuilt from a used core. Both are listed under the GMC number 95517513. Choose 0445110351 for a new unit.

What is the difference between 0445110351 and 0445110183? They are two different Bosch injectors for the same 1.3 engine family and are not interchangeable. The 0445110351 covers the start/stop versions of the Fiat Doblo and Doblo Cargo 66 kW and the Ford Ka from 11/2010 onwards, plus the later Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Opel, Vauxhall, Citroen, Peugeot and Suzuki applications listed above. The 0445110183 covers the versions without start/stop and the earlier Ka. Check the number on your original injector before ordering.

Does this injector need to be coded after fitting? No individual injector calibration code has to be written to the ECU, because 0445110351 is not IMA coded. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's procedure for any injector-related reset or adaptation the ECU requires after replacement, and have the work carried out by a qualified diesel specialist.

Is the sealing washer included? No. The nozzle sealing washer is not included and must be sourced separately. Fitting a new sealing washer is recommended.

How many injectors does my engine need? The 1.3 MultiJet, CDTI and HDi is a 4-cylinder engine, so a full set is 4 injectors. Many workshops replace them as a set; contact us for set pricing.

Which common rail is fitted with this injector? Depending on the vehicle it is either the Bosch 0445214364 or the 0445214239, as listed in the related components section above. Identify the rail by the number stamped on the fitted part, not by the vehicle model.

Do you ship worldwide and how fast? Yes, we ship worldwide. Stock items benefit from same-day handling with tracked delivery.

Common symptoms of a failing common rail injector

On the 1.3 MultiJet, CDTI and HDi engine a worn or leaking 0445110351 typically shows as extended cranking or a no-start condition when cold, an unstable idle with a distinct diesel knock from one cylinder, loss of power, black or white smoke, higher fuel consumption, and stored injector-balancing or rail-pressure diagnostic trouble codes. A high back-leak on one injector can bleed rail pressure away and prevent the engine from starting at all, so the symptom often looks like a fuel supply fault rather than an injector fault.

A professional fuel-system test must be carried out before replacing any parts, to confirm the injector is the actual cause of the fault. Back-leak (leak-off) measurement on all four injectors, live rail-pressure data and injector correction values read with diagnostic equipment are what identify the faulty unit; replacing an injector on symptoms alone frequently leaves the original fault in place.

Installation and system check

Before any injector is fitted, the fuel system must be checked for contamination. This applies unconditionally, whatever caused the original fault, because a new injector installed into a contaminated system fails again in a short time.

Check the fuel filter and its housing, and the inlet screens of the solenoid valves on the high-pressure pump and on the rail (fuel metering unit and pressure regulating valve). This is where debris collects and where sticky deposits show first. Affected components are cleaned or replaced as required, including the tank, feed and return lines, filter housing and filters, rail and high-pressure pump; high-pressure lines and connector tubes are replaced, not cleaned. Finish with a flush, new filters and bleeding according to the manufacturer's procedure.

Metallic debris from a failing high-pressure pump is only one cause. Poor-quality or contaminated diesel is just as common, typically from improper fuel storage, tanks that are not cleaned periodically, or contaminated containers used for refuelling.

Carry out all testing required to establish that the injectors are the actual cause of the fault before replacing any part. Fitting a new injector into a system that has not been decontaminated produces repeat failure within a short period and is not covered by warranty.
